One hour of video in. Six Shorts out.
We ran our clip pipeline on a public-domain NASA news conference: the Artemis II crew's post-flight briefing, 59 minutes long. Below are the six vertical, captioned clips it produced, and a log of every step.
The clips
Fire alarm, 80,000 miles from home
Hook: a smoke alarm on the way home, and the rule of "no fast hands."
Hook 5 · Complete 5 · Peak 5 · Standalone 5What re-entry actually feels like
Hook: like diving off a skyscraper backwards.
Hook 4 · Complete 5 · Peak 5 · Standalone 5The moment it hit him
Hook: asking for the ship's chaplain, and what he saw behind the Moon.
Hook 4 · Complete 5 · Peak 5 · Standalone 4Back on Earth, still floating
Hook: 328 days in space never did this to her. Ten days did.
Hook 4 · Complete 5 · Peak 4 · Standalone 5Launch as friends, land as friends
Hook: the astronaut creed, and how this crew came home.
Hook 3 · Complete 5 · Peak 4 · Standalone 5Find what you can do slowest
Hook: career advice from someone just back from the Moon.
Hook 3 · Complete 5 · Peak 3 · Standalone 5The run log
Timings are from a 2-core cloud machine with no GPU. A modest workstation GPU cuts transcription time substantially. Step 2 wasn't instrumented, so we don't claim a number for it.
What this demo doesn't do yet
- Speaker tracking. Clips use a full frame on a blurred background instead of following the speaker's face.
- Posting. In production, approved clips go to a scheduler with per-platform copy. Here they stop at approval.
- Monitoring. Production pipelines add an agent that confirms every run produced its output. A demo run doesn't need one.
Want this on your own shows? The AI Ops diagnostic maps your clipping workflow and sizes the first agent team. Here's a sample of what you get, and the clipping guide covers the method.
